The horse division is part of Smith Genetics KY operation, headed up by Lisa Smith Naive (Tim's niece). Lisa graduated from University of Kentucky with an animal science degree and has worked in animal health pharmaceutical sales since graduation.
Smith Genetics breeding program produces foals from our AQHA point earning mares that are campaigned through AQHA shows and Nationally at the AQHYA World Show and the All American Quarter Horse Congress. The breeding program includes the use of embryo transfer services and we focus on our feature broodmares: Don't Zip Town AQHA#3673147, IMA Cute Button AQHA#3474068, and Illusive Chex AQHA#3815561, to name a few. These winning mares have earned points in classes including Western Pleasure, Halter, Trail, Horsemanship, and Showmanship.
